The Excelsior Lumber Company was originally founded by Mr. Leo Lust as a saw mill in 1927. He then passed the company on to his son John Lust, and in the 1970's ownership passed
to Mr. Gerry Meany and then on to the Kaslander family in 1989. The Kaslander's already had established an
outlet in Newark, operating since 1960.
Our location in Newark, Kaslander Lumber Company, Inc., serving both the urban and
suburban markets gives us almost 50 years of experience in the industry. Our newest location,
Excelsior Lumber Company, LLC. in Andover/Newton now allows us to serve customers in the Sussex and
Morris county area. Stop in and visit us at one of our three Locations, we're sure that you will be pleased.
